Golden Seahorse Productions
was formed in 1993 by Gunditjmara writer/director/musician Richard
J. Frankland and film producer/manager John Foss.
Since 1993 Golden Seahorse
Productions have produced over fifty films, video's and
documentaries including the award winning short films
NO WAY TO FORGET and
HARRY'S WAR.

We are currently developing
the following film, television and documentary projects:
CONVERSATIONS WITH THE DEAD (feature film)
DIGGER (TV series)
CRY OF BORUN (TV documentary)
2008 will see the release of
Richard's debut feature film project LONG
ROAD TO KAL, Australia's first Indigenous comedy film
starring Luke Carroll and Leon Burchill. Coming soon to a cinema
near you!
Recently we produced
THE CONVINCING GROUND and
SAYING SORRY programs for the Indigenous Programs
Unit of the ABC (Message Stick).
Golden Seahorse Productions
run a number of programs on film/video production for Aboriginal
communities. We have produced plays for La Mama, Chamber Made
Opera and the Melbourne International Festival. We
also run Cultural Awareness Workshops for community, education
and business.
